Welcome to Amherst Hearing Center,  located in the Ear, Nose,  and Throat Clinic of Byron B. Timberlake, M.D.  We are located in the historical town of Winchester, in the beautiful state of Virginia.  The doctor has been in practice at this location for over 30 years. Amherst Hearing Center was opened in 1997.  Our goal is to provide the best quality hearing aids to our patients at a reasonable cost,  and without subjecting them to a hard sales approach.  Our #1 priority is helping people to hear better.  Our motto is the Platium rule, "No one cares about what you know until they know that you care."

We fit, service,  and repair most brands of hearing aids.  Our Hearing Aid Specialist is trained in computerized fittings,  and fine tuning digital and digitally programable hearing aids.  We have a wide range of instruments, from the least expensive to the most advanced digital technology.

In addition to hearing evaluation, fitting and service, we also provide employee audiology screen testing for employers,  and custom earmolds for communication and protection.  We hope you find our website informative and helpful.
